Ms. Palace is from Hunter, New York.  She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Deaf and Hearing Impaired Education from S.U.N.Y. at Geneseo.  She has 18 years of teaching experience. Ms. Palace enjoys hiking, biking, snow skiing, travelling, gardening, and cooking. The thing she enjoys most about teaching is watching the progress her students make through consistency, a positive approach and a language-rich environment.  Ms. Palace has two grown up sons; one lived in Chicago but has now moved to Austin, and the other lives in Shanghai, China. 

 

Gloria Moore

 

Ms Gloria Moore teaches students with auditory impairments in grades K-2. She has 25+ years of teaching experience, primarily in the area of Early Childhood Special Education. This will be her third year as teacher for students with auditory impairments.

She earned her master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin, her bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Syracuse University, and completed a graduate-level teacher certification program for Deaf/Hard of Hearing from Texas Tech University.

She and her husband recently celebrated their 32nd anniversary and have two daughters. Her hobbies include gardening, dancing and figure skating.
