¡Hola! I am Ms. De Leon I recently graduated in May being the first in my family to accomplish this. I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bilingual Education Certification as well as a business administration minor. I am looking forward to being in Kindergarten this year and working with such a diverse group. I was born and raised in Austin and can not imagine myself living somewhere else, especially after being in San Antonio for four years! Growing up I have spent almost every summer in a small town located in San Luis Potosi which is where my family is from, so I like to think a small part of me also lives here. Most of my free time is spent with my 1 year old Maltese Snowy or watching movies. Teaching became a passion of mine after having some wonderful teacher impact my life as for being bilingual that was just in my genes. Watching students grow and develop throughout the months of the school year is one of the most wonderful things to witness and I look forward to seeing a lot of that this year.
