Tamaladas are gatherings wherein the main goal is simple: Make tamales. And lots of them.

It's time to prepare for Reilly's Annual Tamalada! This year we will be hosting the Tamalada (making of the tamales) at Reilly instead of the virtual Tamalada we hosted last year. We are not able to host a sit down dinner this year but we will pre-sell the tamales by the dozen for parents to pick up on Friday the 17th and cook/steam themselves at home.
Tamaladas are for everyone in the Reilly Family. Whether you've grown up making tamales with your family every year or you've only ever eaten them, this is a wonderful Community Event. The pros can teach the newbies and we all can get to know each other a little better.
The tamale making spots are listed as 2 hour segments but you DO NOT have to stay for the full 2 hours. This is just to help spread out the chefs. Please feel free to participate for any amount of time you are able from 30 minutes to 8 hours!

¡Es hora de prepararse para la Tamalada anual de Reilly! Este año organizaremos la Tamalada (elaboración de los tamales) en Reilly en lugar de la Tamalada virtual que organizamos el año pasado. No podemos organizar una cena este año, pero venderemos los tamales por docena para que los padres los recojan el viernes 17 y los cocinen al vapor ellos mismos en casa.
Las tamaladas son para todos los miembros de la familia Reilly. No le hace si has crecido haciendo tamales con tu familia todos los años o solo los hayas comido, este es un evento comunitario maravilloso. Los profesionales pueden enseñar a los novatos y todos podemos conocernos un poco mejor.
Los lugares para hacer tamales se enumeran como segmentos de 2 horas, pero NO tiene que quedarse durante las 2 horas completas. Esto es solo para ayudar a distribuir a las chefs. ¡Puede participar el tiempo que ustedes quieren, 30 minutos hasta 8 horas!
